CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW VENTURE CLUB B ON WINNING THE LEAGUE FOR SEASON 2007-08.  RUNNERS UP ARE THE CROWN.

Congratulations to the Crown who, after a hard fought contest came out on top, winning by 3 legs to 2 against New Venture Club A, in the Final of the Anniversary Cup.

The final of the Knock out Cup saw a repeat of the previous weeks match; the Crown taking it 3 legs to 1 over the New Venture Club A.

In The Singles competition, Michelle Adkins (Crown) was triumphant over Pat Whitby (Crown).

In the Pairs competition, Michelle Adkins and Sue Pincott (Crown) triumphed over Maureen Grocock and Sheila Roadley (New Venture Club A).

In the Foursomes competition Joan Briggs, Den Lewis, H Ilett and B Quinney (Crown) triumped over Steph Kime, Linda Belshaw, Kath Daykin and Lesley Mee (New Venture Club B).

Captain and Secretary's Cup Marie Hill and Jill Tulloch (Charlton Arms) beat Lesley Mee and Steph Kime (New Venture Club B). 

And finally.... in the end of season 101+ competition Jill Tulloch (Charlton Arms) beat Pat Whitby (Crown), in a very close fought contest.

What a season!  Roll on next year!
